Consider this:
"In a study of 450 Alzheimer's patients, led by Ellen Bialystok, a psychology professor at York University in Toronto, those who were bilingual for most of their lives were able to stave off symptoms of Alzheimer's for four to five years longer than people who spoke only one language."

Blog #2
The month of September 15th to October 15th is National Hispanic Heritage month. There are many famous Hispanics who are a part of our history. Your task is to find one famous Hispanic and tell what they did to contribute to history. Include a picture in your blog post as well as citations. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks!

U1E1 Blog #1
For your first blog entry, you will write 10 sentences describing what you did over the summer. The verbs you use should be in the PRETERIT tense. Go back and review your notes or watch the video if you have any questions. ¡OJO! Do not use a translator for this activity. You may look up single words but do not use it for your entire 10 sentences. I WILL be able to tell if you did. If you have any questions, please let me know. A few example sentences might be:
Durante el verano, yo nadé en la piscina. También, yo comí hamburguesas.
Make sure you pay attention to whether or not it is an -ar, -er, or -ir verb and use the appropriate ending.
¡Buena Suerte!
